1 whole turkey (10–15 lbs), thawed and cleaned
1 cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon Chinese five-spice powder
Fresh scallions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions

Place turkey in a large roasting pan. Pour marinade evenly over the turkey, coating thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.Roast Turkey:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roast the turkey uncovered, basting every 30 minutes with pan juices, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), approximately 3 to 4 hours.Rest and Serve:
Remove turkey from oven, tent loosely with aluminum foil, and allow it to rest for 20-30 minutes. Garnish with freshly sliced scallions before carving and serving.
Notes
Marinating overnight enhances flavors and tenderness significantly.
For extra flavor and visual appeal, brush additional marinade or glaze onto the turkey before serving.
Leftovers are perfect for Asian-inspired dishes like fried rice, wraps, or salads.
