Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 ½ cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup cooked sausage or pepperoni (optional for Meat Lover’s version)
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, and spinach (for Vegetarian version)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your pizza dough by rolling it out and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix marinara sauce, cheese, and your chosen toppings. Season with oregano and garlic powder.
- Grease an oven-safe bowl or ramekin with olive oil. Line it with pizza dough, leaving some dough hanging over the edges.
- Spoon the filling into the bowl, then fold the dough over the top to seal it.
- Place the bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes, then carefully flip the bowl onto a plate. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Use whole-wheat dough for a healthier option.
- For a spicy twist, add jalapeños and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months. Reheat in the oven for the best results.
