  • ½ cup cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon furikake seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

For Serving:

  • Roasted nori sheets
  • Sliced cucumbers (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sushi Rice

Cook the short-grain rice according to package instructions.

In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.

Fold the vinegar mixture into the rice and let it cool slightly.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Seafood Mixture

In a bowl, combine crab, salmon (or tuna), mayo, Sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cream cheese.

Stir until well blended and creamy.

Step 3: Assemble the Sushi Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Spread the sushi rice evenly in a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle furikake seasoning over the rice.

Spread the seafood mixture on top, followed by shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Step 4: Bake the Sushi Bake

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles.

Broil for 2-3 minutes for a crispy, golden topping.
